The value of being able to get at distinct data elements and produce custom reports

A hospital was asked to produce data for all Medicare patients billed over a three year period. LDA was able to work with the auditor to present and organize the data for them in such a way that the audit was quick and painless; very few hospital resources were required for records research. The auditor was able to identify areas of concern quickly that were used by LDA to provide more detailed information that then helped the hospital improve their processes and avoid a potentially costly government audit in the future.

Some customers are posting as much as over $900,000 per month in patient and insurance payments to data stored by LDA. Balancing is simple and no complex processes are required to post and recognize these payments.

The assurance that your data is kept intact

In order to implement Guarantor Accounting in an older system that did not natively support single statements, a client had to follow a particular format for the data entry of the Guarantor Name. Many hours were spent training the staff, writing reports to find errors, and implementing guarantor statements. When the data was transferred to LDA, the guarantor name came across just as it was keyed, with the special formatting intact . Viewing the guarantor names in LDA in the same format they were keyed gave the users a greater feeling of confidence in the exported data and in the accuracy of the data house in the LDA databases.
